Hello, and welcome to "The Resilient Leader." This week's message, "Freedom to Choose." Coach Charlotte here.
Every day, we have the freedom to choose. We choose our attitude, our responses, our words, and ultimately, we choose our actions. No matter what challenges come our way or how difficult the circumstances may be, we always have the opportunity to choose how we will respond.
Our energy is far better invested in the things that build people up and move us forward than in dwelling on what tears us down. As leaders, it's important for us to realize the responsibility to do what is right, even when it's difficult. Every choice we make either adds value to people around us or takes value away.
So today, choose wisely. Choose encouragement over criticism. Choose forgiveness over bitterness. Choose listening over interrupting. Choose unity over division. Choose kindness over harshness. Choose patience over frustration. And choose solutions over complaints.
Be the leader who takes the high road, the leader who brings hope, creates calm, and shines brightest in difficult situations.
I want to leave you with this one question. What choice will you make this week that will leave the people around you better because of your response? The choices you make in difficult moments become the impression you leave as a leader.
I don't know about you, but I want the people around me to become better because of how I lead. And I'll leave you with that question again. What choice will you make this week that will leave the people around you better because of your response?
Have an amazing week, my friends.
